About the event
We had a fantastic turnout for our 3rd Annual New York State Boater Safety Course! A total of 23 participants joined us, ranging in age from 10 to 82, and we’re proud to share that all 23 successfully passed and received their NYS Boater Safety Certificate.
This year, the course will be taught by members of the Great Sacandaga Safe Lake Initiative. Be sure to check them out on Facebook (@GSL Safe Lake Initiative). Established in 2018, this group is deeply committed to promoting safe and responsible boating.
The course will be offered as a two-night session on Wednesday, June 24 and Thursday, June 25, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, at Pine Lake’s Adirondack Paradise. The course itself is free of charge; however, New York State requires a $10 fee to obtain your Boater Safety Certificate after successfully completing the course.
