About the event
Beginning last year, WCLA became a part of the Adopt-A-Highway program. Our assigned cleanup section covers both sides of Rt. 29A, stretching from Lake Ave. to Hohler Road, covering approximately 2.3 miles.
We will gather at Camper’s Corner Store. Park to the left of the Store. Volunteers should wear closed-toe, comfortable shoes and long pants. We will supply gloves, garbage bags, and vests for all participants. The cleanup is expected to take about two hours.
To volunteer, contact Board Member Angie Meredith at 518-835-2487. We require at least eight volunteers to accomplish this task.
